An Important Blitzkrieg Player
In the early days of WWII, the Panzer II Ausf.A/B/C was one of the main components of Germany's armored forces as they smashed through Europe with their Blitzkrieg tactics. Despite having only 15mm of armor protection and a 20mm main gun, this compact tank was on the front lines as adequate numbers of Panzer III tanks were not available. For the invasion of France, many tanks featured additional bolt-on 20mm armor plating on the hull and turret.

Early German tank design with many flat surfaces accurately reproduced.

Parts for additional armor plates on the turret and hull follow the same installation layout as the actual tank.

The gaps and steps created by the add-on armor plates creates a heightened sense of detail and realism.

Mesh cover for the mufller is depicted by precision photo-etched parts.

Muffler cover either with or without smoke discharger can be assembled, and 4 types of high-quality markings are included.

Wheels, sprockets, and tracks all feature sharply reproduced surface detail and are easy to assemble.
